Jackie Clark Founder and CEO	Clark Communications founder Jackie Clark brings 25 years of public relations experience designing and implementing communications campaigns. Jackie has created programs for Fortune 500 companies including Wal-Mart and Roadway, entrepreneurs and start-up companies, national trade associations, national charitable organizations, political causes and candidates. Most notable is her experience working to defend supermarket chain Food Lion against false accusations made on the ABC television program “PrimeTime Live.” Clark began her career as a student at The American University in Washington, D.C. where she later graduated with degrees in Economics and Public Communications. She is a frequent guest lecturer at the university and appears frequently on television and radio programs to discuss effective techniques for dealing with the media. When not at work she can be found spending time with her family or reading history.
Fritz Schneider Chief Operating Officer and Chief Client Officer	Fritz is responsible for development of client campaigns as well as crisis management programs. He received his baccalaureate degree (summa cum laude) from the University of Wisconsin and his juris doctor from the National Law Center at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. As Chief Client Officer, Fritz also assures clients of immediate access to the appropriate client team member and serves as the liaison for client business operations. .
Phyllis Becker Account Executive	Phyllis graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in English. Then, Phyllis came to the firm after a 12-year career as a synagogue executive director first at Temple Israel in Silver Spring, MD, and then at B'nai Shalom in Olney, MD, where her public relations responsibilities included designing and writing articles for monthly newsletters, creating flyers and advertisements, writing press releases for local news media and implementing special projects. She was also directly involved in marketing and public relations campaigns to recruit new members, and represented the synagogues at community functions. In her previous career, Phyllis spent 14 years with The Montgomery Sentinel, a paid subscription weekly newspaper in Montgomery County, MD, where she worked her way up the ladder from Editorial Assistant, Business Editor, Managing Editor to Executive Editor. As Executive Editor she was also responsible for The Prince George's Sentinel, a paid subscription weekly newspaper in Prince George's County, MD. In 1990, she was involved with launching free Montgomery County community editions, increasing circulation from 20,000 to 120,000.
Carmenza Montague Account Executive	Carmenza is a native of Colombia, South America. She is a social and environmental entrepreneur with a strong background in marketing and advertising. She has a master’s degree in international business from Universidad Externado de Colombia in partnership with New York’s Columbia University. Previously, Carmenza imported her own brand of environmentally conscious, indigenous coffee from Colombia while leading efforts to reclaim and restore Arhuaco ancestral lands taken by settlers and rebels. At The Integer Group in Denver, Colorado, as an account executive for Coors Brewery-Hispanic market, Carmenza gained valuable experience in promotional and retail marketing and advertising. This knowledge complemented her previous above-the-line advertising career at multinational advertising agency McCann Erickson, where Carmenza had a leading role as supervisor for Nestle’s Friskies Amigo program across South America.
Leslie Happ Director of Creative Services	Leslie Happ specializes in creating marketing and communications strategies and products for nonprofit organizations and mid-sized businesses. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois with a degree in broadcast journalism. Over the next 20 years, her career evolved from feature writing and editing through publication development and management to strategic communications planning and implementation. She was a core member of a team that developed a highly successful multi-million-dollar identity and message campaign for the National Park Service, which needed to resonate with three distinctly different audiences: Park Service staff, Congress and the American public. She created supporting vehicles including web sites, trade show displays, newsletters, magazines, directories and annual reports. She has a strong background in managing creative and production staff and processes while simultaneously improving output and reducing costs.
Chelsea Clark Associate Director of Creative Services	Chelsea Clark has been working for Clark Communications since 2006. She specializes in assisting with the creation of Clark Communication's graphics and designs. She also builds websites for the company and for clients’ individual needs. She is currently obtaining her degree in Communication and Public Relations from The University of Maryland, College Park.
